Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)

Description

This course provides Project Managers with the knowledge and skills needed to master the new PMBOK (trademark) Guide Third Edition and attain the coveted Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. The new PMBOK Guide includes seven new processes as well as thirteen modified processes, such as:

  • Development Preliminary Project Scope Plan in the Initiation Process Group
  • Plan Purchases and Acquisitions in the Planning Process Group
  • Direct and Manage Project Execution in the Executing Process Group
  • Monitor and Control Project Work in the Monitoring and Controlling Process Group

    The 3rd edition PMBOK introduced 20 new terms which students must gain mastery of to successfully pass the updated exam. The course will cover 44 processes within the five process groups and nine knowledge areas in a logical, sequential, and effective way to quickly and effectively prepare learners for the PMP Certification 2005 Exam.
