CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)

Introduction
Cisco certifications will require some dedicated training if you are new to IT.  These will be tough for those considering a career change, but well worth the effort.  Cisco certifications are popular and respected although there are fewer opportunities for employment if you have no existing experience.  We recommend that you firstly become certified with Microsoft and then tackle the CCNA certification which is the starting point for all Cisco certifications. This is a welcome addition to the CV and can greatly enhance your career prospects and earning capacity.

CCNA Overview
The CCNA is the Cisco entry-level certification showing a candidate's proficiency in the fundamentals of networking. While in itself the CCNA doesn't require any prerequisites, the CCNA is a prerequisite for other more substantial Cisco certifications.

The CCNA certification (Cisco Certified Network Associate) indicates a foundation in and apprentice knowledge of networking. 1Training's CCNA program will not only teach learners how to install, configure, and operate LAN, WAN, and dial access services for small networks, but will also provide expert-led instruction, tips, and tricks in the use of several key protocols: IP, IGRP, Serial, Frame Relay, IP RIP, VLANs, RIP, Ethernet, Access Lists.
